2009 Deep Sea Sea Flower Dry Rosé, Central Coast, CA, $28 (S) – Rating 89

This dry and somewhat jammy Rosé just screams for a warm Saturday afternoon patio party. Very fruit forward with balanced acidity. A pleasantly round mouth-feel of ripe strawberry, raspberry, red fruit and a touch of plum. Paired very well with grilled salmon and grilled salad.

2008 Deep Sea Chardonnay, Central Coast, CA, $24 (S) – Rating 90

A really delicious creamy, yet crisp Chardonnay. Deep Sea is a full-bodied and complex wine with balanced flavors of tropical fruit married with red apple and toasty oak, fig and subtle spice. This wine has deservedly won it’s fair share of respected awards. Get it while you can.
