100% Pommard clone from a Anderson Valley. Enticing aromas of black cherry and herbs with hints of leather and spice. A lush mouth-feel, balanced acidity and soft tannins. Integrated flavors of blackberry, raspberry, rhubarb and black cherry with spicy notes of white pepper. Black cherry and saddle leather on the finish. 100% Cabernet and Biodynamically farmed, this is a big Cabernet Sauvignon. A round mouth-feel with chewy tannins and balanced acidity. A nose of black cherry and blackberry with hints of raspberry and intriguing campfire smoke. On the palate, the wine offers flavors of black cherry and blackberry with subtle notes of ripe strawberry and cacao to add complexity. Espresso on the long finish. One of my favorite 2012 Russian River Chardonnays, unfiltered and unfined. A robust nose of red apple, Meyer lemon, baking spice and pie crust. Full bodied with juicy acidity offering flavors of red apple, Meyer lemon, pineapple and ripe pear with a definite sense of minerality. Red apple and spice dance in the long finish. Buy This Wine.
