2005 Texas High Plains $7.50 (S) — Rating 86
Maybe the best Texas Chardonnay I’ve had. Nice notes of fruit with a touch of butter and honey. Unfortunately, it is only available for purchase in the Pheasant Ridge tasting room in Lubbock, Texas.

Mi Sueno translates into “My Dream” and this Cabernet is a dream. Big and bold jammy blackberry, dark cherry and supple tannins. Big in the mouth yet not overpowering. WE -92
I’ll admit it, I’m a Sushi addict. If you are too, you know it is hard to find a wine that wine actually pair well. The Weingut Christ Gruner Veltiner pairs very nicely. This white wine is crisp and juicy with a touch of white pepper.
This bright crisp white wine had enough fruit and acidity to pair beautifully with our meal of Thai Larb. Pair this wine with other Asian specialties.
An excellent example of Petite Sirah. Inky black with blackberry, dark spices, dark fruit and the black pepper I enjoy so much in Petite Sirah. We paired the C. G. Di Arie Petite Sirah with a spicy green chili, the wine held up beautifully.
