A truly wonderful Zin from a very small boutique estate winemaker. Order directly from Fanucchi Vineyards. While listed for $50, Fanucchi often sells for up to 50% off.
Another very good Tempranillo from Texas. A bit lighter and smoother than others. 100% Texas grapes Grown by Andy & Lauren Timmons in Brownfield, Texas, Lost Draw Vineyard. Order directly from Woodrose Winery
For under $20 this cab is fantastic. Twenty Rows made by Vinoce is pretty fruit forward with soft tannins and a long silky finish. The flavors and aromas were all very indicative of a good Napa Cabernet. Order directly from Twenty Rows
Rich and complex with dark flavors like black berries and currants with a hint of cedar. The tannins were big but soft enough. After two passes through the Vinturi and an hour in the decanter, this bad boy opened up beautifully. Give it a little more time.
