2007 – Monterey, CA – $14 — Rating 3.25
Winemaker Notes – A brilliant medium-full color, the wine shows buoyant aromas of fresh cherry and strawberry, with plenty of wonderful beet root character typical of Pinot Noir.
Wines under $20
very dry with hints of peach. Maybe the best Texas Viognier. Pairs very well with Thai and other Asian foods
Very fruity (black cherry) with fuzzy tannins and a hint of oak and cola, this Tempranillo is a winner for $14. It is complex enough to get you thinking but light enough to enjoy on a warm summer’s evening.
