This Zinfandel was served at the 2011 Professional Wine Writers Symposium dinner, a ringing endorsement. While Napa is known for Cabernet, Tres Sabores proves you can grow great Zinfandel, too. A very well balanced, fruit forward, medium-bodied Zin that is a bit reminiscent of a big Pinot. Interesting enough to enjoy solo, the wine paired wonderfully with homemade pulled pork.
